Frequently asked

What counts as a seat?+
A seat is one active workspace member, anyone listed under Dashboard → Members with status Active. We don't charge for:
  • Pending invitations that haven't been accepted yet.
  • Members you've removed from the workspace.
  • Client-portal logins (those use a separate session and never appear in your members list).
  • API keys, bots, and webhooks, integrations don't take a seat.
Owners count as seats too, the founder of a workspace isn't free. The Active count you see in Dashboard → Members is exactly what we bill from.
What if a member only logs in once a month?+
Seats aren't metered by activity, only by membership. If a person is in the workspace they take a seat, regardless of how often they sign in. To stop paying for an inactive teammate, remove them under Dashboard → Members; you can re-add them later without losing their history.
Can I switch tiers later?+
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from Dashboard → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period so you keep what you paid for.
Is there a free trial?+
Every new workspace starts on a 14-day Growth-tier trial. No credit card required to start.
Monthly or yearly billing?+
Both. Monthly is pay-as-you-go and you can cancel any time. Yearly billing knocks 33% off every tier and storage add-on, charged once up front for the year. Toggle the Monthly / Yearly switch above the tier cards to see the live pricing.
How does cloud storage work?+
Each tier comes with a pooled cloud-storage quota for the whole workspace, 5 GB on Starter, 10 GB on Growth, 100 GB on Business. Counts against your quota: file uploads on tasks, submissions, and expense receipts that we host on Nexus cloud storage. Doesn'tcount: anything you attach as a Google Drive link, since those live on your Drive. If you outgrow your tier's quota, stack one of the add-on packs above (+200 GB / +500 GB / +1 TB) without changing tiers.
What happens if I run out of storage?+
New uploads are blocked with a clear error until you free space or an admin raises the quota. Existing files keep working. You can free space by deleting attachments, switching them to Drive links, or adding one of the storage packs.
What about WhatsApp / Telegram costs?+
Notification delivery is included in your tier. WhatsApp may have small per-conversation fees from Meta on top, those are passed through at cost when applicable; we'll itemise them on your invoice.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
Your data is yours. Export everything as CSV or via the Developer API up to 30 days after cancellation; after that the workspace and its contents are removed from our systems.
