Your profile
Your account details, password, avatar, Google linking, and per-org notification settings.
Your account details (name, sign-in email, contact number, contact email and avatar) are one record. Every organisation you belong to shows the same details, and a change you make here (or an admin makes from your page under Dashboard, Members) shows up everywhere at once: task lists, chat, CRM, notifications and the WhatsApp bot. Only your notification preferences are per-org, and switching organisations swaps those automatically.
Where it lives
Workspace, Profile (the user avatar at the bottom of the sidebar, or
go directly to /workspace/<slug>/profile).
Editing your details
Click Edit Profile. The form has:
- Full name, shown wherever you appear, in every organisation.
- Email, the address you sign in with. Any pending invites addressed to your old email move to the new one.
- Contact number and Contact email, an alternate way to reach you.
Change the values and click Save Changes.
Changing your avatar
The avatar in the card header has a small camera icon. Click it, pick an image, and the upload starts. Images are auto-resized client-side before upload. Like the rest of your details, the avatar is the same in every organisation.
Changing your password
In the Security card click Change Password. The form asks for:
- Current password (required, unless you were forced to change on first sign-in).
- New password (minimum 6 characters).
- Confirm new password.
Click Change Password. You stay signed in on this device but every other device gets signed out for security.
Linking a Google account
In the Google Integration card:
- Linked: shows the Google email and a Connected badge. Buttons: Link Different Account and Unlink.
- Not linked: a single Link Google Account button.
When you link, we ask Google for permission to access Tasks (so we can mirror your Nexus tasks into Google Tasks) and Calendar (so the Meetings feature can create events). If you skip one of those scopes you'll see a warning toast and the dependent feature will prompt you to re-authorize.
Linking WhatsApp
If your org has the WhatsApp feature flag enabled, the Notification Settings card has a WhatsApp section. See WhatsApp notifications for the full flow.
Notification preferences
The Notification Channels table lets you decide where each type of notification goes:
| Event | Push | |
|---|---|---|
| Org invite | toggle | toggle |
| Task assigned | toggle | toggle |
| Task submitted (you're the reviewer) | toggle | toggle |
| Task approved | toggle | toggle |
| Task revision requested | toggle | toggle |
| Incoming calls (chat) | toggle | - |
| Missed calls (chat) | toggle | - |
The WhatsApp column is disabled until you have a verified WhatsApp number. Click Save Preferences to apply changes.
Calls have no WhatsApp option. An incoming call only pushes to your devices when no workspace tab of yours is open to ring: with the workspace open, the call rings in the tab instead. A call in a chat with more than 32 other members rings nobody and notifies you like a new message.
These preferences are per-org. Switching to a different org shows you that org's settings.
Recent tasks and teams
The bottom of the page shows two read-only sections:
- Recent Tasks, your last few tasks with status badges.
- Teams, the teams you're in, with a Lead label where applicable.
Permissions
Your profile is self-service: you can edit every detail above yourself.
An admin with Manage Members can also edit your details (from Dashboard, Members, by clicking your row), as long as they outrank you and this is the only organisation you belong to. If you are a member of several organisations, your details are yours alone to change, because one organisation's admin can't rename you in the others. An admin can change your sign-in email only on an account the organisation created for you, not an owner's, and not while you have an invitation pending from another organisation.
